Malaysia Airlines offering ‘Favorite Spot’ on their flights

Malaysia Airlines has added another feather in its cap that already brims with facilities and luxuries. Introduced in July this year, people flying in international economy class can select seats that suit their needs and taste.

This is one of its kind facilities for people flying on cheap flights. Until now, such privileges were reserved for first and business class passengers. The only limitation, in this case, would be a nominal charge for picking the favorite spot.

The decision to introduce such facility on international economy class seats was taken after assessing the encouraging response in the domestic sectors. The option holds good for all the MAS flights with the exception of codeshare and MASwings flights.

Through this move, the airline wanted to offer its passengers more choices and control over their travel experience. Under the scheme, passengers can pick from two seat categories: premium seats that cover the first few rows and emergency exit seats; and standard seats that include other seats in the economy class cabin.
