Sky-high luxury is something that changes the in-flight experience. The airlines are focusing more and more on providing outlandish opulence to the business class and first class passengers. They entice the passengers with comfortable lounge wear and various little amenities to coddle them. In addition to relishing food prepared by the finest chefs and other privileges, the guests receive souvenirs of their journey – Designer Amenity Kits with ritzy beauty and health products.
JAL (Japan Airlines) launched new amenity kits by Tumi for the business class passengers on long haul routes on October 6, 2014.
Tumi, started in 1975, is a leading global brand for travel accessories based in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The kits are being distributed in two colors, red and black; red is meant for the inbound flights and the black for outbound flights.
The new amenity kits will be provided to business class passengers from Tokyo (Narita) to Boston, Chicago, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Los Angeles, Moscow, New York, Paris, San Diego, Sydney and Vancouver. The kits will also be provided on the flights scheduled from Tokyo (Haneda) to London, Paris and San Francisco.
The amenity kit is equipped with a ball point pen, earplugs, eye mask, lip cream, moisture mask, pocket tissue and a toothbrush set. The eye mask and moisture mask are known to be quite relaxing before catching a wink.
In addition to the Tumi amenity pouch, JAL also provides Green bamboo massage stick for soothing swollen or tired feet and a complimentary portable air massager available on all routes except Hawaii and Moscow.
