Qantas Airways upgrading A330 domestic business class seats

Australia’s national flag carrier Qantas Airways recently announced it will be upgrading its business class seats on its Airbus A330 aircrafts plying on domestic routes.

Alan Joyce, CEO of Qantas Airways, said that he will be recommending to the board fixes to the Airbus A330 business class seats on the airline’s domestic route network. He said that the recently-unveiled new and improved product had been rather shocking for the frequent flyers and need to be immediately fixed.

Joyce said that the airline would be replacing the current ‘sloper’ seats in business class cabins on its Airbus A330 aircrafts fleet serving domestic destinations. He said that it’s about time that the wedgie sleeper seat should be done away with.

Joyce further stated that apart from upgrading business class seats on A330 aircrafts, the airline would also be installing new flat bed seats in business class on long-haul routes. He said that the A330 international fleet would see the installation of full length fully flat parallel to the floor seats in business class cabins.
