Qatar Airways, one of the leading Middle Eastern airlines announced its plans to add more flights to Nairobi. The decision to boost capacity to the Kenyan capital was taken since passenger flow to the city has increased manifolds over the years.
The airline recently added four more flights per week to its itinerary to the African gateway. It will continue to use the services of A320 aircraft on this route. With these additions, the airline will operate 18 flights between Doha and Nairobi, up from 14 flights.
Passengers now have more options to book business class flights to Nairobi post this increase. At present, the airline flies 750,000 passengers to the city and expects these numbers to rise by 28 percent in the near future. The country is popular for export of fresh produce, flowers, and tea and is thronged by business and leisure travelers.
