If you are traveling by Qatar Airways on First Class or Business Class then get ready for an ultimate dining experience that has been created exclusively for you. The airline launched a new Pre-Select Dining service which is personalized offering more freedom and choice to premium customers traveling from Doha to long-haul international destinations. The service has been initially launched on select flights to North America, South America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
Media reports said that this exclusive dining service has been designed to provide opportunity to premium customers to choose one main course at least 14 days in advance and/or up to 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. The main course can be selected for the airline’s on-board à la carte menu. The First Class and Business Class customers are already being provided Dining-on-Demand service, which will however continue as usual.
Akbar al-Baker, Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, said, “The premium customers will be required to pre-select a meal by visiting the airline’s official website and log into ‘My Trips’. They will then be able to select from the seasonal menu to be offered on board their flights. The customers can also order their meals through the airline’s mobile app. We want to give the best to our privileged customers and constantly striving for innovations, upgrading our products and providing top notch services. By introducing the new Pre-Select Dining service we want to show our commitment to our customers by offering unmatched on-board experience.”
The launch of Pre-Select Dining service has come close on the heels of the unveiling of Qsuite business class seat, which is considered path-breaking and so far the best in the world’s commercial aviation industry. The Qsuite was introduced earlier this year, and it has also won Qatar Airways the title of ‘World’s Best Business Class’ during 2017 Skytrax awards. Apart from this, Qatar Airways has also been awarded the title of ‘Airline of the Year’ for the fourth time.
