Qatar Airways marks five years of its flights between Doha and New York

Qatar Airways recently marked the completion of its flights services between Qatar’s capital Doha and New York.

The airline started offering air tickets for the first time in 2007 when it made its foray into North America, with New York becoming the first U.S. city on its network.

Apart from offering daily nonstop flights between Doha and New York, the airline is also offering daily flights to Houston, Washington D.C., Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. The airline is also conducting thrice weekly flights to Montreal.

The airline in a statement said that it will also be marking five years of its flights services to Washington D.C. this month.

According to Qatar Airways, Washington D.C. and New York are solid performing routes for the past five years. The passengers taking flights on these routes are being offered its signature award-wining five star service onboard. They are also taking the advantage of high connectivity to multiple leisure and business destinations on the airline’s network.

Travelers from the U.S. can now conveniently connect onwards to more than 85 destinations across Asia, Africa, India, Australia and the Middle East from Qatar Airways’ hub in Doha.
