Qatar Airways has once again been recognized as one of the leading airlines in the world, particularly for providing top notch business class flights services. The airline received the accolade during the recently concluded ‘Condé Nast Traveller ‘Readers' Travel Awards’ ceremony held at the Ham Yard Hotel in Central London.
Qatar Airways received the coveted “Best For Business” award after being voted by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller magazine. The airline was commended for providing five-star on-board service, top quality lounge facilities at Al Mourjan Business Lounge at Doha’s Hamad International Airport and London Heathrow Premium Lounge, and on-time departure punctuality record. Apart from this, the airline also won the runner-up ‘Leisure Long-haul Travel’ award. The airline is presently one of the fastest growing in the world.
A spokesperson of Qatar Airways said that the airline has been conducting flights services across the world for the past 18 years now. The airline is a proud owner of a modern fleet of 166 aircrafts that serve 152 business and leisure destinations spanning across six continents.
Qatar Airways has also been the global launch customer of Airbus A350 aircraft offering the passengers a new flying experience as they enter the unique dome design entrance on board the aircraft. According to the airline, the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft comprises of two classes – Business Class and Economy Class. The customers booking business class tickets are offered a total of 36 seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, prominently featuring fully flat beds and 17 inch personal HD in-flight entertainment screens.
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways has announced it will be launching its Airbus A350 aircraft to operate flights to New York and Philadelphia from Doha from 2016.
