Singapore Airlines recently introduced special passes for Indian customers enabling them to get cheap airfares for travel to the United States, China, Japan, New Zealand and Australia. The exclusive special pass for travelers from India is called the ‘Asia AirPass’.
A statement issued by Singapore Airlines said that the ‘Asia AirPass’ would allow the Indian travelers to get special add-on fares between Singapore and destinations within North Asia and South-East Asia for a maximum of four sectors. This offer is for those flying long-haul beyond Singapore to New Zealand, Australia, U.S., Japan, China and Hong Kong. The ‘Asia AirPass’ would be valid for both Singapore Airlines as well for its low-cost subsidiary SilkAir.
According to the airline, the passes would be available for sale until March 31, 2014. The passes can be bought by the Indian travelers in Ahmedabad, Visakhapatanm, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi, Delhi, Coimbatore, Chennai and Bangalore. Singapore Airlines also stated that apart from these special fares, the transit passengers can also utilize the opportunity to collect a complimentary 40 Changi Dollar Voucher for their use at participating shops, restaurants and lounges at Singapore’s Changi International Airport.
