Singapore Airlines named World’s No. 2 best airline for 2015

Singapore Airlines has been named World’s No. 2 best airline for 2015 in the latest Skytrax ranikings. Singapore’s national carrier follows Qatar Airways, which has attained the World’s Best position.

Singapore Airlines presently operates one of the youngest fleet of modern aircrafts to several destinations spanning over six continents. The airline had in past years achieved considerable success owing to its most sought-after business class flights services. The airline had also earlier been presented awards for its best first class seats, beating Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways.

The airline is renowned for its iconic courteous and warm ‘Singapore Girl’ donning her distinctive uniform providing high standards of service and care that customers highly expect of Singapore Airlines.

Apart from Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways, other international airlines that found place on Skytrax’s coveted annual top 10 World Airline Awards list for 2015 include Cathay Pacific Airways, Turkish Airlines, Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, All Nippon Airways, Garuda Indonesia, EVA Air and Qantas Airways.

Qatar Airways was voted the ‘World’s Best Airline’ for 2015. The leading Middle East carrier had earlier been presented with the top awards for two consecutive times in 2011 and 2012. The airline was also voted runner-up twice. In addition to these awards, the airline has also been a proud winner of ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’ and ‘Airline for best business class seating’ awards in the past.
