Special fares announced by Thai Airways to mark launch of superjumbo A380

Thailand’s national flag carrier Thai Airways International, popularly known as THAI, recently received its first superjumbo Airbus A380-800 aircraft. To mark the occasion, Thai Airways announced special fares and would be offering cheap tickets to those planning to travel on the new superjumbo.

The airline received its first Airbus A380-800 aircraft on September 27, 2012. The airline has placed orders for a total of six Airbus A380-800 aircrafts.

Thai Airways is offering great flight deals for travel to various worldwide destinations from Bangkok. These destinations include Hong Kong, Frankfurt and Tokyo.

The customers are being offered round-trip Economy Class tickets starting as low as $291. Cheap flights to Singapore can be booked starting at $291, while for travel between Bangkok and Hong Kong round-trip fares are being offered at $297. For travel to Frankfurt, cheap tickets can be purchased starting at $1,151. The customers can also book flights to Tokyo Narita starting at $547.

Thai Airways also disclosed it will be launching its A380 service between Bangkok and Paris in February 2013. The airline will also start flights to Sydney on its new superjumbo in September next year.
