Spirit Airlines to resume nonstop seasonal Myrtle Beach flights

Travelers to Myrtle Beach are now a happier lot as cheap flights by Spirit Airlines are to be resumed in March this year. Leading U.S. low cost carrier Spirit Airlines recently announced that it will again start its nonstop seasonal flights services to/from Myrtle Beach International Airport.

The seasonal flights were scheduled to have started from April 2, 2014. However, the airline has now advanced the flight schedule and would begin the service much earlier from March 20, 2014. Spirit Airlines would resume the nonstop flights to Myrtle Beach from Philadelphia and Charleston.
Spirit Airlines indicated that it is going to begin seasonal flights to Myrtle Beach from nine cities in the United States starting from May 1, 2014. Apart from the seasonal service, the airline is planning to operate year-round daily flights to various U.S. cities from Myrtle Beach. The cities where the airline plans to begin daily year-round service include New York (LaGuardia), Fort Lauderdale, Boston and Atlantic City.

Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airline’s Vice President of Network Planning, said that the airline is pleased to begin its nonstop seasonal flights to Myrtle Beach ahead of schedule. He said that the airline is carrying more visitors to Myrtle Beach than what other airlines do. The service will provide yet another opportunity to the customers to get low fares and enjoy flying in the large Airbus aircrafts to be deployed on these routes.
