Spirit will fly nonstop from Latrobe to Las Vegas next spring

Spirit Airlines officially communicated on Monday that it will start direct, nonstop flights from Latrobe to Las Vegas. This daily flight service will connect Arnold Palmer Regional Airport to Las Vegas and is scheduled to start from April 16, 2015.

Vice President of Network Planning for Spirit Airlines, Mark Kopczak expressed delight and said that these nonstop flights to Vegas will prove to be quite popular amongst the Western Pennsylvania passengers. Flying to Las Vegas will be easier and cheaper since the customers will save up to 40% on the air travel cost with Spirit’s Low Bare Fare with Frill Control. This will allow them to splurge on the wide range of hotel and entertainment options in the Sin City.

The domestic low cost carrier will also offer seasonal flight routes to Fort Myers and Myrtle Beach scheduled to start on December 18. The Tampa seasonal flights will start on December 19 along its existing year-round service to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.

The people of Latrobe are genuinely excited about discounted airfares alongside free parking at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. The Executive Director of Westmoreland County Airport Authority, Gabe Monzo is convinced that this new flight route will be quite popular among the masses. This route will add up to existing four popular daily flights from the Arnold Palmer Airport. The airport’s namesake was also quite pleased with this addition and stated that this daily service to Las Vegas will open the West for the citizens of Latrobe and would quickly gain popularity.

Cathy Tull, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority was quite thrilled about the service expansion to Las Vegas and stated that whenever a new destination is added to the existing flight schedule, it provides flexibility as well as additional convenience for the passengers.
