Top London Nightclubs: Entertainment After Dark

There is plenty to do in London during the day -- sightseeing, shopping and even dining around. So what do travelers coming in on flights to London do after the sun goes down? Believe it or not, London has one of the best clubbing industries in the world. With over 100 different clubs playing music from all over the globe, travelers are bound to find a good time in London after dark.

Ministry of Sound
Over 5,000 people each weekend find themselves headed to the Ministry of Sound. This legendary nightclub has three bars, three dance floors and hosts famous DJs from around the world such as Paul Oakenfold. Tourists arriving on air flights to London make a point to stop into this famous club; where the music is played at 45 percent capacity, but sounds like 150!

Club Aquarium

It is called Club Aquarium for a reason - there are swimming pools and hot tubs located within the club itself. Most travelers after long flights to London find fun and relaxation at this hip new club in downtown London. Each of the five dance rooms has their own swimming pool and hot tub, plus a VIP lounge if you want some real peace from the crowded general areas.

Herbal
Travelers headed to London on cheap airfare tickets might be interested in finding the hippest or trendiest club, which is why many stop in at Herbal. This warehouse conversion has an industrial look, but the music is strictly techno. All of the DJs here are cutting edge and some famous faces appear for Saturday nights including Fabio, Andy Weatherhall, and Goldie.

Heaven
Heaven is one of London’s best known gay bars and clubs in Europe. It attracts locals and tourists on plane tickets each weekend. Located right across from Charing Cross Station, it is one of the easier clubs to find in the city. Impressive DJs will lay down their newest tracks and sometimes even a few famous faces will pop up on the dance floor.

seOne
seOne first opened in 2002 and since then it has become London’s largest nightclub around. With over five different dance rooms, seOne has the ability to hold 3,000 dancers at one time. Each day there is a different theme of music played that ranges from techno to house to drum and bass.
