Turkish Airlines has introduced its first A321neo in Cabin Flex configuration which has already taken its delivery in Hamburg, Germany. Essentially, it’s a latest addition to the family of the well-to-do A320. This version has let the carrier to make pliable cabin configurations to accommodate about 240 passengers by enabling some adjustments to the fuselage. The configuration is done in such a way that the airline can allot 162 seats in economy class whereas 20 seats will be given to business class.
When compared to the previous version, A321 neo comes up with various alterations which are visible. There’s a modified passenger door configuration wherein the door lying at the front of the wing is taken out and there lie new overwing emergency exits at its center. Furthermore, a new rear section is also introduced in A321 neo. Undoubtedly, this new variation is a choice of the day, however, by 2020, it would become a part of all A321neos.
The A321neo is primarily an eco-friendly concept and with this kind of aircraft, nitrogen oxide emissions can be eliminated to approximately 50 percent as well as an elimination of noise value can also be noticed by about 75 percent. The newly introduced version allows fuel consumption to get reduced to about 15 percent.
