Turkish Airlines offers business class on Toronto-Istanbul route

Turkish Airlines has announced it will now be offering business class seats on Toronto-Istanbul route. The airline will be expanding its business class offering after removing the Comfort Class seats being provided on the route until now. The airline’s move has come to fulfill the growing demand of premium travelers for award-winning business class product.

Media reports said that Turkish Airlines has of late been focusing on providing enhanced flying experience to business class travelers visiting international destinations. To cope up with the demand the airline has also increased the capacity of business class seats to 49 from existing 28, thus increasing the capacity by 75 percent. The airline will be offering new business class seats on its Boeing 777 aircrafts conducting flights between Istanbul and Toronto.

A spokesperson of Turkish Airlines said that business class customers would be able to enjoy delicious cuisines in unique, restaurant-quality service. Moreover, the airline’s signature “Flying Chefs” would be serving candle light dinner to the customers in porcelain dishes and matching glassware. The airline promises a luxurious experience to premium customers during 9 to 10 hour flight duration between the two destinations.

The premium fliers would be offered business class seats measuring 75 inches when fully reclined so that they can enjoy comfortable sleeping experience. The business class cabins will also be equipped with privacy screens, a reading light and power outlets. The customers traveling on business class flights to Toronto from Istanbul can also look forward to various in-flight entertainment options as well, which includes 460 TV programs, 340 movies, and above 850 audio books and music albums. Among other entertainment options include live television and kids’ movies.

The business class customers will also be able to gain access to the airline’s award-winning CIP Lounge at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Among others the lounge can also be accessed by first class and business class customers booking flights on any Star Alliance member airlines.
