United Airlines launches Dreamliner on its LA-Tokyo route

United Airlines operated its first international Boeing Dreamliner on its daily nonstop Los Angeles - Tokyo service on January 3, 2013. At present this regular flight being operated by a B777 will be replaced by a Dreamliner B787.

This flight was scheduled to take off at 1115 hours from LA and is expected to land in Tokyo at 1610 hours the following day.

United's 787 Dreamliner will consist of 36 BusinessFirst, 70 Economy Plus and 113 Economy seats.

United airlines in November 2012 had launched a Dreamliner on its domestic Houston-Chicago flight. The airline also has plans to operate B787's on few of its other international flights like Huston-Lagos, Denver-Tokyo and Huston-London Heathrow.
