United Airlines to operate out of Terminal A at Kansas City

United Airlines recently announced the start of its flights services out of Terminal A at the Kansas City International Airport. Until now, the airline had two gates in two terminals which caused confusion to its customers.

The airline in a statement said that it has now started operating all its flights out of Terminal A at Kansas City International Airport starting from December 5, 2012.

The airline stated that it will be conducting its flights operations at the south end of Terminal A in a newly remodeled space.

According to United Airlines, the terminal has enough space and its baggage screening system have enough capacity to accommodate the airline’s customers flying out of here.

Joe McBride, a spokesman of United Airlines, said that having all the gates in one terminal would prove to be a lot better as it would be quite convenient for the customers.

In 2010, United Airlines and Continental Airlines announced their merger. As a result of the merger, the Continental brand was dissolved early this year.
