Virgin Atlantic Airways completes fleet upgrade, unveils new premium economy cabins

Virgin Atlantic Airways recently announced it has almost completed upgrades to its fleet and installing new premium economy cabins.

The airline in a statement said that all aircrafts in its fleet deployed on London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow routes have been refurbished.

The airline stated that the aircrafts will now be equipped with newly-designed seats as well as state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment. The airline said that the upgrades are aimed at making the flights more comfortable and enjoyable for the customers than ever before.

The airline said that customers booking premium economy flights will find the new premium economy cabins to be larger and more exclusive.

According to the airline, premium economy tickets are now available to the customers for flights starting from January 6, 2013.

Virgin Atlantic Airways also disclosed that it is all set to start offering domestic flight services to Manchester Airport from London Heathrow starting from March next year. The airline will operate three daily flights between London Heathrow and Manchester effective March 31, 2013.
