Virgin Atlantic Airways offering bonus tier points and miles to its Flying Club members

Virgin Atlantic Airways is offering bonus tier points and miles to its Flying Club members traveling in all classes, including premium economy flights.

The airline recently disclosed that under its latest offer its Flying Club members will be able to earn up to 12 bonus tier points as well as up to 150 percent bonus Flying Club miles in all classes. This offer is however valid when the members book and complete two return flights before February 28, 2013.

According to Virgin Atlantic Airways, this offer can be availed only when the membership of Flying Club is obtained before October 15, 2012. This promotion is valid on all the 34 destinations on Virgin Atlantic Airways route network.

The customers will be able to earn 50 percent bonus miles and four bonus tier points on the first return flight, while on the second return flight they will be able to earn 100 percent bonus miles and eight tier points on the second return flight.

The airline stated that these rewards are availed by Flying Club members on top of the base miles and points earned for their travel.

Earlier, the members used to earn eight tier points on return premium economy flights to New York. But, on this new offer the members will now be able to earn 12 tier points on the first flight. They will also be able to earn 16 tier points on their second return flight, thus making a total of 28 tier points earned.
