Virgin Atlantic Dream Suite on London-New York route soon

Virgin Atlantic Airlines recently announced that it will be launching its new Upper Class Dream Suite on its London to New York flights from May this year.

The airline plans to make its newest first class cabin turn into a quiet car in the sky. The passengers taking Virgin Atlantic first class flights on London-New York route will get a wholly new flying experience.

The airline said in a statement that it has recruited a “whispering coach” to teach crew members on how to whisper properly when lights are dimmed in its new Upper Class Dream Suite.

According to Virgin Atlantic, a proper whisper is anything from 20 to 30 decibels. However, normal speaking volume is 60 to 70 decibels.

By introducing this innovative concept, the airline wants to reassure its passengers their rest and sense of tranquility are of utmost importance, and that it wants them to have a comfortable and hassle free trip onboard their flights.

Richard Fitzgerald, the Britain-based whispering coach, said that whispering soothes and relaxes the passengers, as well as allow them to clearly hear what the crew member is saying without disturbing nearby passengers.
