Virgin Hotels has now set its eye on Nashville. Media reports recently said that British tycoon Richard Branson-owned Virgin Hotels is on course to gain foothold in the United States.
The reports said that the plan for constructing a 240-room hotel in Nashville has been revealed. The new hotel will be situated on the famous Music Row and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2016.
According to the reports, the hotel’s address will be One Music Row. The hotel will be featuring 240 suites, including 15 penthouse residential units. The hotel will have a restaurant, a study, a bar/lounge and The Commons Club on the ground floor. Among its other prominent features include a live entertainment venue, a centerpiece bar and an outside veranda providing picturesque views of the city.
British billionaire Sir Richard Branson, CEO of the lifestyle hotel brand Virgin Hotels, said, “The recently-opened Virgin Hotels Chicago has been a grand success. It is now open and bustling. It is extremely thrilling to reveal the plans of Virgin Hotels Nashville. The new property will be a fantastic and innovative addition to the Nashville hotel scene. The new hotel will be entirely different and incorporate the musical heritage of the city. There will also be a studio and recording space designed by Michael Cronin aptly keeping in with the characteristic of Nashville city. Apart from these, the new hotel will also have a 14,000-square-feet meeting space, a wellness center, a gym and a rooftop pool.”
Virgin Hotels is also planning to expand its reach further in the United States. The possible locations in the country being considered include Washington D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas and Boston.
