Virgin America sign interline agreement with Air China

Virgin America recently announced it has signed an interline agreement with Air China. The pact would allow Virgin American flights to be operated on North America and Asia routes.

The airline in a statement said that the interline agreement would also allow Air China to help its customers connect to North American destinations from Beijing.

Virgin America disclosed that through the interline pact both the carriers would be able to sell their air tickets on each other’s network. Apart from this, both the carriers would also transfer baggage between connecting flights to the final destinations of the passengers.

According to the airline, passengers traveling by Air China will now be able to connect from a Virgin America destination to Beijing and beyond. Air China passengers would be able to connect to Beijing and other destinations via New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport or San Francisco International Airport.
