In addition the city also offers some excellent dining and shopping options at its many restaurants and designer goods stores.

If you are planning a trip to Munich for the fest or just to experience some hearty 'Gemutlichkeit', you should probably consider flying business class to Munich for the journey to this heart of Bavaria from any US city usually involves a long haul trip.
