Cheap Tickets to Karachi

Cosmopolitan and commercial, Karachi is the true heart of Pakistan in spite of not being its capital. This ever busy city has the reputation of being ever awake.

From the time your flights to Karachi land at the Jinnah International Airport till the time you depart, you will feel like you are in a perpetual rush; to absorb this great city within a limited span of time. By the time you leave, you will realize that it is the character of the city that is the reason for this rush.

The largest city of Pakistan is also the head of its financial affairs; it attracts businessmen, investors and tourists equally. It’s therefore no surprise that there are cheap flights to Karachi from all major countries. For international travelers, booking cheap flights is the best means to reach Karachi. If you are already in Pakistan, you can reach the city by train or bus.

Karachi for tourists
With its multi-cultural population and status as the busiest city in Pakistan, Karachi has lots to offer to tourists. While beaches like the Clifton beach, sandspit beach and French beach offer relaxing respite, monuments like Mazar-e-Quaid, Mohatta Palace and museum and Masjid e Tooba are pleasant to the eyes and loved for their culture and history.

Mohenjo-Daro and Thatta are must visit heritage sites, located a few miles away from Karachi. You can also visit the Somiani caves and Hungol National Park as an excursion from Karachi.

If you are traveling with kids, take them to the Bagh-e-lbn-e-Quasim, the city’s most popular park and the water jet fountain which is said to be the world’s tallest fountain. The Aladdin amusement Park and Arena have lots of activities and games for children too. Other places to visit include Port Grand, Minora Island, Frere Hall, National Museum of Pakistan, WWF Wetland centre and Karachi Port Trust.

The Empress Market and Saddar Bazaar are great places for shopping. Garments and musical instruments are cheap and good to buy here. Karachi also has perky nightlife with plenty of pubs and dance halls. Add to this the incredibly versatile food scene and you have your perfect holiday city. Every cuisine is available here with plenty of international food chain outlets.

Accommodation is available for all budget types. Basic rooms with bathroom are available at very cheap rates. Inexpensive accommodation combined with cheap flights make Karachi a favored destination for budget travelers and families. If you want only the best, that’s available too; but of course at a higher rate.

When to visit
Since July to September is rainy season in Karachi, it’s best to book your flights to Karachi for the winter months between October and February. If you want to avoid crowds, don’t book your airline tickets for December since this is when most tourists land in this city.

With its huge multilingual population, Karachi has rich culture that has to be savored by staying there. So don’t hurry to book your return flights from Karachi; instead, stay there and enjoy what the city has to offer.
