JetBlue Airways and Hawaiian Airlines sign new partnership agreement

JetBlue Airways recently announced it has signed new partnership agreement with Hawaiian Airlines. The agreement is aimed at offering new benefits and convenience to customers booking JetBlue Airways flights tickets or taking Hawaiian Airlines flights.

The agreement will also allow frequent flyer program members of both the carriers to start earning and redeeming loyalty points or miles for travel on either airline.

The signing of this new codeshare agreement will also enable travelers find convenient connections between points throughout the East Coast and points throughout Hawaii Islands. 

The agreements became effective on June 5, 2012 with Hawaiian airlines launching the only nonstop flights services between New York City and Hawaii with daily flights, which took off from JetBlue Airways’ Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City and Honolulu International Airport.

According to the codeshare partnership, JetBlue Airways’ TrueBlue members will be able to accrue one point for every two miles flown on eligible Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights, while HawaiianMiles members will be able to earn miles on eligible JetBlue Airways-operated flights on a mile-for-mile basis.
