JetBlue Airways enters into interline agreement with Cathay Pacific Airways

JetBlue Airways recently announced it has entered into an interline agreement with Cathay Pacific Airways. The agreement is aimed at linking each other’s flight network and offering convenient flight options to the travelers.

The interline agreement will help passengers booking JetBlue Airways flights to connect to Asia Pacific. Similarly, passengers taking Cathay Pacific Airways flights will be able to connect to the Americas easily.

The interline agreement between the two carriers will become effective later this summer. The agreement will enable passengers of both the carriers to travel on a single ticket. Apart from this, the passengers will also be able to take the advantage of one-stop baggage check-in facility while transferring between the two carriers at Los Angeles International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

JetBlue Airways is currently the largest U.S. domestic carrier at New York JFK. Cathay Pacific Airways presently offers four daily flights from New York JFK to Hong Kong International Airport, and also provides three daily flights from Los Angeles to Hong Kong.
