JetBlue Airways launching flights to Cartagena from New York JFK starting November 2

JetBlue Airways recently announced it will be launching its flights services to Cartagena from New York in November this year.

The airline in a statement said that JetBlue Airways flights between Cartagena and New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport will be launched from November 2, 2012.

JetBlue Airways flights to Cartagena, its second destination in Colombia, will be operated thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This will be the airline’s only nonstop flights service between the two cities.

Earlier, the airline had started additional daily flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Bogota this summer in order to complement its current daily Orlando-Bogota flights. The airline has been operating flights to Colombia ever since the services were launched in 2009.
