JetBlue Airways to award 50 tickets to mark 50th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence

Here’s a great chance for you to win free JetBlue Airways flights tickets to Jamaica. The airline recently announced that it will be awarding 50 free tickets to Kingston from Fort Lauderdale to mark Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of Independence on August 6, 2012.

New York-based JetBlue Airways said in a statement that it has partnered with the Jamaica Tourist Board and WAVS 1170 AM radio station for the promotion of this incredible offer.

According to the airline, the avid listeners of the radio station stand a great chance to win free tickets to Kingston by giving answers on questions related to Jamaican culture and history, or even listening to a song that promotes Jamaica.

JetBlue Airways will be giving away free tickets to the winners through July 6 on Mondays 7 to 10 am; Tuesdays/Wednesdays 6 to 7 pm; and Thursdays/Fridays 1 to 3 pm. The winner will get one ticket on each day of the promotion.

Earlier, JetBlue Airways launched new nonstop flights in May this year being operated twice daily between Fort Lauderdale’s Hollywood International Airport and Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport.
