Free ticket for Spirit’s 140,000th flyer at Palmer airport

Travelers booking Spirit Airlines flights out of the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport have good news. You might also be one of those lucky ones if you happen to be the 140,000th passenger. 

Spirit Airlines recently announced it will offer a free trip on the airline to one passenger, who will happen to be the 140,000th, and flying out of the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.

The airline in a statement said that in the first 10 months of the year about 120,265 passengers have arrived and departed on Spirit Airlines flights at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport near Latrobe.

The Westmoreland County Airport Authority, which manages the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, hoped that the number will reach 140,000 in December this year.

Gabe Monzo, Executive Director of the Westmoreland County Airport Authority, said that the Latrobe Airline Services would keep on counting passengers departing and arriving on the airline until the number reaches 139,998. He said that this is being done to determine the winner, who would be offered a free ticket.
