Spirit Airlines adds nonstop Atlanta-Atlantic City service

Spirit Airlines recently indicated that it will start additional seasonal nonstop flights between Atlanta and Atlantic City effective May 17, 2012.
Spirit Airlines flights between the two cities will operate once a day. The airline has, however, not specified how long it will continue to operate this seasonal route.
The airline in a statement said that the new service from Atlantic City will also offer a stopover to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (via Atlanta).
The passengers can also make Spirit flight reservations to Boston from Atlantic City as the daily seasonal service is being resumed from March 1 this year.
Besides, daily seasonal Spirit Airlines flights to Detroit and Chicago O’Hare from Atlantic City is also scheduled to start from May 3.
Currently, Spirit Airlines is operating flights to six beach-oriented destinations from Atlantic City. The destinations include Florida cities of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Tampa, Orlando and West Palm Beach, as well as the South Carolina beach resort of Myrtle Beach.
