Spirit Airlines Charleston flight schedule to be rearranged

Spirit Airlines flights services out of Charleston’s Yeager Airport will be rescheduled. According to Yeager Airport officials, Spirit Airlines’ service linking the airport with Myrtle Beach and Fort Lauderdale will be changed.

Spirit Airlines flights tickets are currently available for flights linking Charleston and Myrtle Beach, which are operated on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week using 145-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.
 
The airline in a statement said that from June 13 onwards it will continue to operate the 145-seat plane on Tuesday, but will be using a 178-seat Airbus A320 aircraft on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline stated that the Tuesday service will be operated until the last week of June this year.
 
Currently, Spirit Airlines offers two nonstop flights every week to Fort Lauderdale.

The airline also stated that it will continue to operate its service to Myrtle Beach until November 2, 2012, while its flights services to Fort Lauderdale will end on September 5, 2012.

Spirit Airlines started offering flights services linking Charleston and Fort Lauderdale on March 3, 2011, while it began offering seasonal service to Myrtle Beach starting from May 3, 2011.
