Spirit Airlines likely to add more destinations in 2013

Passengers can hope for more Spirit Airlines flights to new destinations in 2013. Spirit Airlines recently announced it is planning to launch more flights services to new U.S. cities next year.

According to the airline, it is likely to introduce new flights to New York or Chicago from next year. The airline is mulling to add new routes on its flight network after getting buoyed with the success of its flights being operated out of Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.

The airline in a statement said that board members of Westmoreland County Airport Authority are planning to meet the officials of Spirit Airlines to discuss introducing of new flights from the airport.

Donald Rossi, Chairman of Westmoreland County Airport Authority, said that the airport officials want Spirit Airlines to begin flights out of the county airport to Chicago and New York. He said that if the airline starts flights services from this airport, the passengers will greatly benefit as they will get more travel options.
