Spirit Airlines to launch two round-trip flights to Houston from Dallas-Fort Worth starting September 20

Spirit Airlines recently announced it will be launching round-trip flights services between Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth in September this year.

The airline in a statement said that Spirit Airlines flights to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston will be operated twice daily from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport starting from September 20, 2012.

The airline further stated that Spirit Airlines flights tickets will also be available for one daily round-trip flight to Baltimore from Dallas-Fort Worth starting September 6, 2012.

Earlier, Spirit Airlines had announced it will be adding a total of five new routes out of Dallas-Fort Worth. With the addition of five new routes, the airline will be offering flights to 20 new destinations by next spring from North Texas.

The new additions will make Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport the airline’s second-busiest airport after Fort Lauderdale.

Earlier, Spirit Airlines launched one daily round-trip flight between Oakland and Los Angeles from April 25, 2012.
