Aeroméxico Monterrey-Brownsville flight service continues after successful trial

Aeromexico, Mexican flag carrier, recently said that it has decided to continue to offer flights to Brownville from Monterrey after a successful trial.

The airline said that it had launched twice weekly flight service to Brownsville’s South Padre Island International Airport on July 15, 2011 for only 6-week period initially, which was scheduled to conclude on August 21, 2011.

However, the airline decided to continue flight operations on the route till the end of Northern Summer season as well as through winter schedules. A third weekly rotation will also be added on the route from September 15, 2011.

The flight to Brownsville is the only international flight by Aeromexico in the small regional airport in Cameron County, Texas.
