JetBlue Airways US$10,000 award to local library, nominate and win a family vacation

JetBlue Airways has brought for you a golden opportunity to win a family vacation to the Bahamas. Here’s your chance to nominate your local library for a US$10,000 award as part of the airline’s “Soar with Reading” initiative under Corporate Social Responsibility.

JetBlue Airways is encouraging readers for nominating their local library in which it will get a chance to become a winner of US$10,000 worth of books. Along with the nomination of their local libraries, the names of readers will also be entered in which they will get an excellent chance to win a family vacation to the incredible Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau, Bahamas from JetBlue Airways Getaways.

The airline’s initiative is aimed at keeping children engaged in reading throughout the summer simultaneously harnessing both in-flight and online literary resources as well as community reading events.

The airline disclosed that more than 75,000 entries have already been received representing local libraries in all the 50 states. The nominations will close on September 30, 2011.
