Spirit Airlines success spurs Arnold Palmer Regional Airport expansion plans

Spirit Airlines success has made the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport officials happy leading to a rethink on expansion plans at the airport to accommodate growing number of travelers.

Spirit Airlines, the leading discount airline in the US offering cheap flight deals to its customers regularly, initially started its flight services at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport by operating 4 flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport every week. Later in May this year, the airline introduced more flights by adding 4 flights to Myrtle Beach every week.

According to Arnold Palmer Regional Airport officials, the Westmoreland County Airport Authority recently approved the expansion plans of the parking lot at the airport for accommodating the rapid increase in the number of customers which Spirit Airlines has brought ever since it made its debut from here in February this year.

Presently, the parking lot at the airport can accommodate about 900 vehicles, which is insufficient considering the growing number of Spirit Airlines customers at the airport.
