Volaris Airlines begins Denver-Mexico City flights Dec 15
Volaris Airlines recently announced it is all set to begin its flights operations between Denver and Mexico City. The airline in a statement said that Volaris Airlines flights from Mexico City to Denver would start from December 15, 2012.
The airline said that the first nonstop flight from Mexico City is scheduled to arrive at Denver International Airport on Saturday, December 15. The inaugural flight would be carrying a large delegation of local leaders returning from a trade mission to Mexico.
The flights between the two cities are expected to boost economic, cultural, tourism and travel relations. The Mexico-based Volaris Airlines would be the only carrier to offer year-round flights services between the two cities. Presently, United Airlines and Aeromexico operate flights between Denver and Mexico City on a seasonal basis.
Currently, Volaris Airlines would be operating the flight on Denver-Mexico City route once every week with the help of a 144-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.
