Volaris to begin nonstop flights between Guadalajara and Sacramento from November
Mexico’s second-largest carrier Volaris recently announced it would be launching nonstop flights services to Guadalajara from U.S. in November this year.
The airline in a statement said that it is all set to begin twice weekly nonstop Volaris flights services between Guadalajara and Sacramento International Airport starting from November 15, 2012.
According to the airline, the flights between the two cities would also offer connecting service to other cities in Latin America and Mexico. Apart from Volaris, flights to Guadalajara are also being currently offered by Mexico’s national flag carrier Aeromexico.
Sacramento International Airport would be welcoming its second international airline with the launch of Volaris flights.
Volrais said that it will either be operating Airbus A319 or Airbus A300 aircraft, having capacities of 141 or 174 passengers respectively.
Phil Serna, Sacramento County Supervisor, said that this is welcome news for the airport as it will be receiving its second international airline for flight operations out of the new Terminal B.
