Vueling announces first phase of Summer 2014 Cardiff schedule
Spanish carrier Vueling has announced the first phase of its Summer 2014 flight schedule from Cardiff Airport. This will be the airline’s third consecutive year of operations at the airport. The airline said that it would be operating flights to Palma Majorca, Alicante and Malaga from Cardiff. Vueling airlines has put the tickets up for sale much ahead than usual so that its customers can plan for their next summer travel.
Providing details about its summer schedule, Vueling said that it would start operating flights to Alicante and Malaga starting from April 1, 2014, adding to the existing winter schedule. The airline would operate operating thrice weekly flights between Cardiff and Alicante. The flights would be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Regarding the service to Palma Majorca, Vueling said that flights to Palma Majorca would begin operations from June 21, 2014. The airline would operate flights between Palma Majorca and Cardiff thrice per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Vueling said that the program follows its commitment to operate winter services from Cardiff Airport in 2013-14, thus extending its flying program to an all year round operation. According to the airline, the winter flights to Malaga and Alicante would be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Javier Suarez, Network Planning Director of Vueling, said that more than 100,000 passengers have used Vueling for traveling from Cardiff in less than two years. He said that the airline is excited to offer its customers opportunity to fly to Malaga and Alicante not only in summer but in the winter as well.
