Emirates Airline hopes to post better results in 2012

Emirates Airline's President Tim Clark recently said that the sale of Emirates Airline flights tickets were quite strong in 2010 as well as 2011. He said that the airline made a profit of $1.52 billion (5.6 billion Dirhams) in 2010, and $707.88 million (2.6 billion Dirhams) in 2011. Clark hoped that the airline will continue to earn significant profits in 2012 as well.

Media reports quoted Tim Clark as saying Emirates Airline expects to see the United Arab Emirates (UAE) becoming the world’s most significant aviation hub by 2015.

Clark also said that the airline is planning to buy more aircrafts and operate more Emirates Airline flights on new routes expanding its flight network further.

Media reports quoted Clark as saying that despite the unstable fuel prices and deteriorating debt crisis in Europe, Emirate Airline is looking forward to make profits in 2012-13 in the similar way as it earned profits in the past two years. He was quite optimistic and said that the airline’s performance is likely to improve further from last year.
