Emirates introduces Boeing 777-300ER on Dublin route ahead of schedule

Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates recently announced the launch of a larger aircraft on its Dublin route two months ahead of schedule due to growing demand.

The airline in a statement said that it introduced a 360-seat Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its Dublin route effective from May 1, 2012. The airline stated that Emirates flights had to be pressed into service two months ahead of schedule because of surging demand. The Dublin route has also become one of the most successful new passenger services for the airline.

Before the launch of flight prior to its schedule, Emirates had earlier indicated that it would be deploying a larger aircraft from July 1 this year. The airline had, however, to fast-track the launch after it reviewed the passenger load factors and aircraft availability. The airline has also indicated that in future it will be upgrading the service and will deploy Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route.
