Spirit Airlines hands out 2,000 certificates for 20,000 frequent flyer miles

Spirit Airlines recently handed out 2,000 certificates for 20,000 frequent flyer miles. The airline initiated this exercise to promote the start of Spirit Airlines flights in the Twin Cities last week.

The Florida-based carrier distributed 2,000 certificates for 20,000 frequent flyer bonus miles each. The airline stated that the 20,000 miles are enough for a free round-trip award ticket, with taxes and fees from $5 per award ticket.

Spirit Airlines recently started its flights services from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul to Chicago and Las Vegas.

Spirit Airlines flights are being currently operated from Minneapolis-St. Paul with three daily nonstop flights to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Apart from this, the airline is offering daily nonstop flights services to Las Vegas from Minneapolis-St. Paul with connections available to Boston, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York LaGuardia and Orlando.

The airline handed out the certificates on two days to people who were 18 years or more on a first-come first-serve basis.
