Spirit Airlines recently announced it is launching daily nonstop service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Portland starting from June 21, 2012.
The airline in a statement said that Portland will be the 15th nonstop destination of the airline from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
To celebrate the launch of the new Dallas-Fort Worth-Portland route, Spirit Airlines flights tickets have been offered to the passengers starting from $28.79* each-way, based on round-trip purchase.
According to the airline, the number of cities being served by Spirit Airlines flights from Dallas-Fort Worth ever since starting service to the Metroplex about a year ago on May 5, 2011. The airline is currently offering nonstop flights services from Dallas-Fort Worth to Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, New York LaGuardia, Orlando and Phoenix/Mesa Gateway.
Spirit Airlines flights will also be launched from Dallas-Fort Worth to Denver starting from May 3, 2012. A three-times-weekly service to Myrtle Beach from Dallas-Fort Worth will also be started on the same day. Later, the airline will also start operating a four-times-weekly service to Tampa from Dallas-Fort Worth from May 4, 2012. From June 21, 2012, the airline will also start nonstop daily service from Dallas-Fort Worth to Toluca (close to Mexico City), Detroit and San Diego.
