Flying to St. Kitts from U.S. this summer? A pleasant surprise awaits you with more flight options and cheap airfares. American Airlines recently announced it is introducing additional flights services to St. Kitts from New York this summer.
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority indicated that Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport here is getting a 3rd American Airlines flight, which commenced in June this year. The new service will be complementing the nonstop flights being operated by the airline from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays of every week.
American Airlines said that with the additional service there will be more travel options now for all those who wanted to stay on the picturesque St. Kitts Island for a short duration or longer stays. The seasonal flight, which started operating from June 13, 2014, will continue until September 5, 2014. The new flight will be operated on Fridays every week.
Providing details about the new service, the airline said that the flight will depart from New York JFK at 5.00 pm and reach St. Kitts at 9.30 pm. The return flight will depart from St. Kitts at 10.30 am and arrive at New York JFK at 2.55 pm.
Meanwhile, in yet another development, American Airlines has indicated that it is moving ahead to consolidate its market share in Asia. The airline is planning to begin new flights between Hong Kong and Dallas/Fort Worth. The move to solidify its presence in Asia further has come after the launch of flights to Seoul last year and new services to Shanghai in June this year.
Hong Kong is presently the 2nd largest trading partner of United States. The decision of the airline to begin flights between the two destinations will strengthen trade relations between the U.S. and Hong Kong.
