Located on the banks of the Han River, the city continues to allure hundreds of travelers from far away corners of the globe. It is interesting to know that the city was founded some 200 years ago in 18 BC and continues to hold the prominent status even today. Today, it is a well-established and thriving city and is home to some of the big names in the technology industry. The city shares an organized air network with other important world cities and several airlines that fly here offer Cheap Airfares to the travelers.

The capital city is home to various attractions. Though there are many places that are a must-visit here, some of the most popular names feature on our Seoul City Guide. These names comprise Banpo Bridge, Namdaemun Gate, Kyongbokgung Palace, Tapkol Park, Seoul Tower, the Chongmyo Shrine, the Changyonggung Palace, and the National Folk Museum. Banpo Bridge is a famous bridge over the Han River that joins Yongsan and Seocho districts with each other. This bridge lies on top of the Jamsu Bridge and is a part of the double deck bridge in the city. It is because of this reason that it attracts tourists flocking to its premises. It offers a pleasant sight and mazes all who throng its premises.

The city is beautiful in its own domain and there is actually no fixed time to plan a trip. However, travelers who are conscious about their itineraries, the right time for them to visit the bustling city is during the autumn months that last between September and November. A large number of travelers visit the city during these months, as the weather is generally sunny. It is quite fascinating to explore the bordering hillsides reddened with fall colors in October.

The capital city has no dearth of eateries that serve all kinds authentic Korean cuisine. The best restaurants can be found in areas around the Seoul Railway Station and the Chingno area. There are many restaurants in the city where you can gorge on Western dishes as well. However, some of the names popular with the locals and the foreigners alike include Gusto Taco, OKitchen, Jyoti Restaurant, Brick Oven New York Pizzeria, Jung Sik Dang, and Le Saint-Ex.
