Bangalore has left Mumbai and Delhi behind in the race to emerge as the top business destination in India. Delhi is India’s capital city, while Mumbai is the Financial Capital of India. A recent study has indicated that Bangalore has now become India’s hottest business destination.
The study was conducted by the Global Initiative for Restructuring Environment and Management (GIREM) and made public in October 2013. The study was based on basic quality of living, city culture, human capital and infrastructure. The study covered 21 business destinations in India. Based on the overall findings, Bangalore finally gained the number one position among flourishing and popular business destinations in the nation.
Bangalore is being acknowledged as the best location for doing business. The study has cited several factors that go on to make the city top business destination in the country today. These factors include the city’s strategic location, cosmopolitan city culture, plenty of office spaces, excellent education system, top quality talent pool and good air connectivity.
The Bengaluru International Airport serves Bangalore connecting it with many Indian cities and other parts of the world efficiently. A large number of airlines operating flights out of the city make it convenient and easy to get business class tickets to Bangalore at competitive rates during most parts of the year. Major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to Bangalore include Air India, Emirates Airline, British Airways, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways International, Singapore Airlines, Oman Air, Etihad Airways and others.
