Emirates lounges open doors for MAS business class passengers

If you are traveling on Malaysia Airlines’ first class or business class flights then here’s good news for you. Airport lounges operated by Emirates Airlines worldwide will now offer access to Malaysia Airlines’ premium customers.

Malaysia Airlines and Emirates Airlines are into codeshare partnership now. However, the access of each other’s lounges virtually remains unknown to most customers. But Malaysia Airlines has decided to make it obvious by highlight the information on its official website.

Whether you are traveling to Malaysia, Dubai or other airports in the world, you shouldn’t worry anymore now. All you need to do is to just flash your boarding pass, and get ready to gain access to any of the first class and business class lounges operated by Emirates Airlines anywhere in the world. This would, of course, be apart from the Malaysia Airport lounges. The choice after all is yours – either to get to Emirate Airline lounges or those run by Malaysia Airlines.

Apart from first class and business class, those holding Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich frequent flyer program membership such as Platinum, Gold or Silver cards will also be offered access to Emirates Airlines lounges and would also be able to bring along with them a guest as well.

Meanwhile, in another development Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways have been adjudged among the world’s safest airlines. This is according to a data released recently by the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre or JACDEC.

A JACDEC's Airline Safety Ranking 2017 study revealed that the airlines operating out of the Middle East and Asia dominated the list of carriers as previously with the best safety track record in 2016 as well. Among the top ten safest airlines in the world, Emirates Airlines was ranked seventh while Etihad Airways was ranked eighth in the coveted list. Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways topped the list for the best safety record.
