Hong Kong WinterFest (From December 5 till January 1, 2015)
The Hong Kong WinterFest starts right after Thanksgiving. It is a major highlight of the Christmas season. It’s simply awesome to watch nearly 40 buildings along the harbor putting up a popular light show named the “Symphony of Lights” each night of the season. These buildings also prominently display fantastic New Year’s decorations as well. This is the best time to visit Hong Kong and mesmerize with the festive lighting and laser images across the city. Victoria Harbor presents a magnificent sight with the dazzling fireworks show on New Year’s Eve.

The Nutcracker — Hong Kong Ballet (From December 19 to 28)
The world-famous operatic ballet “The Nutcracker — Hong Kong Ballet” is enjoyed by people of all ages. It’s a special Yuletide tradition as well. Rediscover Christmas with this fairytale ballet produced by the renowned composer Tchaikovsky. The Hong Kong Ballet prominently features lavish sets and costumes, and also live music by the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. The performances are held at the Grand Theatre situated within the premises of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, which is adjacent to the Star Ferry Terminal in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui area.

Hong Kong Disneyland's Sparkling Christmas (From November 13 to January 4, 2015)
Disneyland, which is situated on the Lantau Island, will be entertaining the visitors with Christmas-themed amusement activities. The fun starts just before Thanksgiving and continues until New Year’s Day. This year the sparkling lights will be the major highlight of the event. A new technology called “Disney Paint the Night” will be used for the event. The spectators will be thrilled to see interactive display of computerized floats with optical fibers and nearly a million LED lights. You will also thoroughly enjoy the fantastic decorations on the entire Main Street USA.
