Middle East carriers offer discounted fares for Christmas

Several Middle East carriers such as Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and flydubai are offering discounted airfares for the peak Christmas holiday season.

Media reports said that UAE residents would now be able to take advantage of this offer by booking cheap tickets on Emirates Airline for travel to various destinations in North America, South America, Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. The special offer is valid for outbound travel starting from November 9, 2015 till January 31, 2016.

UAE national carrier Etihad Airways had earlier launched its 96-hour early-bird sale in late October this year. However, the discounts on plane tickets didn’t cover this year’s festive period. The customers were required to book tickets for outbound travel starting from January 18 up till June 15, 2016. The customers can also take the advantage for earning double miles on flights to all destinations.

State of Qatar’s flagship carrier Qatar Airways also announced exclusive offers in October this year on all flights departing from the UAE to various destinations across the world, including the Middle East, North America, Asia and Europe. The roundtrip tickets have been offered for travel commencing from October 5, 2015 up till June 15, 2016.

Leading Middle East low-cost carrier flydubai is also attracting customers with significant savings of up to 30 percent on roundtrip fares in economy class for travel to select destinations from Dubai. The offer is valid for outbound travel starting from November 3 till November 29, 2015.
