Qatar Airways was recently awarded “Best Up in the Air Experience” title during a glittering ceremony organized to present the Future Travel Experience Global 2016 awards in Las Vegas. The Future Travel Experience Awards presentation has been held for the second consecutive year.
The Best Up in the Experience award is presented to leading international airlines which have shown commitment to continuously provide excellent passenger experience during the course of the flights. With its industry leading and innovative in-flight experience, Qatar Airways emerged at the top to win the coveted award.
“Qatar Airways is the first international airline to deploy Airbus A350 aircraft into operations. The airline’s award-winning Oryx One in-flight entertainment system is among the best in the commercial aviation industry today. The airline has continued to roll out fleet-wide Wi-Fi services on board its flights. The airline has also invested in Elite Service training, Emotional Intelligence training and Cabin Crew development tailored to meet the requirements of customers traveling in first and business class flights,” said the citation presented to the airline on the occasion.
Qatar Airways presently operates one of the world’s youngest fleets out of its state-of-the-art hub at Doha’s Hamad International Airport. The airline has this year already been bestowed with several prestigious awards, including ‘Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East’, ‘Best Business Class Airline Lounge’ and ‘World’s Best Business Class’ during the renowned 2016 World Airline Awards presented by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization.
